Lebanon edged Argentina in World University Games 2025 for a 1-1 record in Group D. They kept Argentina winless after a 60-44 win.
Argentina started with a 15-13 run, whilst Lebanon replied with a 19-8 rally in the second frame. Once again Argentina pulled back with a 15-12 run in the third quarter, whilst Lebanon closed the game with a final 16-6 surge.
Roudy El Hajj (192-G/F-2003) top-scored for the winners with 14 points and Omar El Jamal (203-F/C-2003) had 11. Jose Copesky (184-PG-2006) answered with 16 points in defeat and Alejo Sacchi (196-F-2003) brought 12.
