28-year old power forward Rodrique Benson (207-F/C-84) had an amazing evening in the last round for LG Sakers and receives a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 11 points and 24 rebounds, while his team edged out KCC Egis (#9, 1-6) 66-63. LG Sakers maintains the 7th position in South Korean league. LG Sakers is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. Benson turned to be LG Sakers' top player in his first season with the team. University of California graduate has very impressive stats this year. Benson leads league in rebounds with 14.0rpg. Benson is in league's top in and averages solid 51.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Eric Sandrin (206-C/F-78) of Dongbu Promy. He is naturalized American in his first season at Dongbu Promy. In the last game Sandrin recorded impressive 25 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he lead Dongbu Promy to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Sonic Boom KT (#10, 1-6) 96-75. This victory allowed Dongbu Promy to move up to 8th position in the standings. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Dongbu Promy managed to get this year. Sandrin is a newcomer at Dongbu Promy and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.0ppg (#7). He also registered 6.6 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Carlos Powell (199-F-83) of league's leader ET Land. Powell showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of ET Land, leading his team to a 77-73 win against the lower-ranked Dongbu Promy (#8, 2-6). ET Land confirms their top position in the standings Powell has a great season in South Korea. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.7ppg (6th best).

5. Leon Williams (203-F/C-86) of Goyang Orions - 15 points and 10 rebounds

7. Juan Pattillo (197-F-88) of Anyang KGC - 25 points and 8 rebounds
8. Tae-Jong Moon (199-F-75) of ET Land - 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Sun-Hyung Kim (187-G-88) of SK Knights - 19 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Tony Akins (180-G-80) of Goyang Orions - 18 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Experienced American Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader SK Knights and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 11. The 36-year old forward recorded a triple-double of 43 points adding also fifteen rebounds and ten assists, while his team edged out Mobis Phoebus (#7, 6-7) 105-104. Fifth-ranked Mobis Phoebus (6-7) made lots of trouble for first ranked SK Knights (11-2) in Seoul on Sunday. SK Knights managed to secure only one-point victory 105-104. However their fans expected much easier game. SK Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Mobis Phoebus' 48.
