Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners and Filipino forward Carl Tamayo (200-2001) chipped in 24 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and international guard Jaehyun Oh (185-1999) scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
