His exceptional play earned him the fourth spot in points per game, boasting an impressive average of almost 20 and second in rebounds per game, an average of over 12. Long has totalled 32 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 4 games. He registered double-doubles in 54 games at the event. Long's 37 points against the Sono Skygunners were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. As you can see the league is dominated by ex-college players where 9 out of 10 best scorers graduated U.S. schools. Assem Marei, 33-year old Egyptian center from the Al Alhy Benghazi, was voted the Defensive Player of the Year at the East Asia Super League. He Is the Minnesota State Mankato alumni from 2015. Marei collected multiple other honors, was selected as the Center of the Year, and was chosen to the First Team and Imports Team. He averaged over 16 points per game in the league. Marei received Player of the Week award in the league. He led the EASL in rebounds per game with over 14. Marei has totalled 19 games of 20 or more points and had double-doubles in 46 games on the year. His 29 points against the KCC Egis were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. The standout guard Hoon Heo was honored as the Domestic Player of the Year of the championship-winning Busan KCC Egis. He received multiple other awards, was named to the First Team and Domestic Players Team. Heo's excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Sono Skygunners 4 to 1 in the final series. He recorded 13 points per game that season in the league. Heo led the KBL in assists per game with over 7. He has totalled 9 games of 20 or more points and logged double-doubles in 6 games on the year. Heo's 29 points against Wonju DB were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. Ethan Alvano, American guard from the Wonju DB, earned the Guard of the Year of Korean Basketball League. He Is ex CSUSM from 2018. Alvano collected multiple other honors, earned a spot in the First Team and Imports Team. He conducted his way to the second position in averaging a commendable almost 7 assists per game. Alvano also registered almost 18 points per game over the season in the league. He has totalled 21 games of 20 or more points on the year and notched 30 or more points in 3 games. Alvano recorded double-doubles in 8 games at the event. His 37 points against the Sono Skygunners were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. As you can see the league is dominated by ex-college players where 9 out of 10 best scorers graduated U.S. schools. Alvano's team won the South Korean Cup in 2025. Nathan Knight, 28-year old American power forward from the Sono Skygunners, was voted to the First Team at the Korean Basketball League. He Is alumni of the William & Mary from 2020. Knight was also selected to the Imports Team. His best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by the KCC Egis 1 to 4. With finesse and precision, Knight claimed the fourth position in rebounds per game, delivering a stellar almost 11 rebounds per game average. Knight also averaged over 17 points per game in the league. He has totalled 25 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 2 games. Knight had double-doubles in 37 games at the event. His 32 points against the Mobis Phoebus were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. As you can see the league is dominated by ex-college players where 9 out of 10 best scorers graduated U.S. schools.
