South Korean KBL round 46 best performance: Youssou Ndoye

Senegalese Center Youssou Ndoye (213-C-1991) had an amazing evening in the last round for Korea Gas Corporation, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 46.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds, while his team outclassed Seoul Thunders (#10, 15-36) with 31-point margin 92-61. KoGas maintains the 5th position in South Korean KBL. KoGas is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 27-25 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Ndoye as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Youssou Ndoye averages this season 8.3ppg and 6.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young international center Yungi Ha (203-C-1999) of Suwon KT Sonicboom. Ha had a very good evening with 23 points and 4 rebounds. Bad luck as Sonicboom lost that game 71-91 to slightly lower-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#4, 31-20). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Suwon KT still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 32-20 record is not bad at all. Ha is one of the most experienced players at Suwon KT and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 10.6ppg (#6). He also registered 5.1 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Filipino guard Javier Gomez De Liano (195-SG-1998) of Anyang KGC (#6). Gomez De Liano scored 26 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Despite Gomez De Liano's great performance the Anyang lost 62-77 to the higher-ranked LG Sakers (#2, 33-19). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Anyang ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 29 games, recording just twenty three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Gomez De Liano could help Anyang to bring them higher in the standings. Gomez De Liano has a very solid season. In 48 games in South Korea he scored 8.2ppg. He also has a FGP of 59.3% and 3PT: 41.9%.
