American Center Jameel Warney (203-C-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Seoul SK Knights, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat LG Sakers (#4, 1-1) 89-81. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Knights to take over top position in the South Korean KBL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Seoul Knights won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Warney had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at Knights, through which he has constantly improved. Former Stony Brook University star has very solid stats this year. Warney is in league's top in points (2nd best: 27.0ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 13.0rpg), assists (6th best: 5.0apg) and averages impressive 61.5% FGP and 42.9% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Rayshaun Hammonds (206-C-1998) of Hyundai Mobis Phoebus. Hammonds had a very good evening with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Mobis Phoebus was edged by Wonju DB (1-1) 71-68. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Hammonds is a newcomer at Mobis Phoebus, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.0ppg (#1). He also registered 8.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Ung Heo (183-G-1993) of Busan KCC Egis (#8). Heo showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Egis, leading his team to a 89-82 win against Seoul Thunders (1-1). KCC Egis needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Heo has a great season in South Korea. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.5ppg (8th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
