South Korea - China 90-76

South Korea defeated China 90–76 in their World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifier matchup, building a commanding lead early with a 28–13 first quarter and maintaining control through a strong first-half performance that ended 52–29. Korea continued its momentum with another 28-point third quarter, effectively putting the game out of reach before easing off in the final period. China showed late energy with a 24-point fourth quarter, but the deficit was too large to overcome as Korea’s balanced scoring and early dominance secured a comfortable victory.
Junghyun Lee (191-F-1987) top-scored for the winners with 24 points and Hyunjung Lee (201-G/F-2000, college: Davidson) poured in 20. Shuaipeng Cheng (191-SG-1999) brought 19 in a loss, Jinqiu Hu (211-C-1997) scored 18 and Qi Zhou (172-G-2003) had 17.
