36-year old USA-KORn forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-1989) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Daegu KoGas Pegasus and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Seoul Thunders (#7, 9-12) 80-76. Daegu maintains the 9th position in South Korean league. Daegu is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 7-14 record. In the team's last game Ratliffe had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Daegu's top player in his first season with the team. University of Missouri graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ratliffe is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 7.9rpg) and averages solid 59.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Samjosef Belangel (177-G-1999). He is Filipino guard in his 4th season at Daegu. In the last game Belangel recorded an impressive 26 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists. It was enough for Daegu KoGas Pegasus to edge the higher-ranked Wonju DB (#4, 12-9) by 4 points 81-77. Daegu's 9th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-14 record. Belangel is one of the most experienced players at Daegu and similarly like Ricardo Ratliffe has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Kerem Kanter (208-F/C-1995) of Seoul Samsung Thunders (#7). Kanter showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Samsung Thunders, leading his team to a 84-61 easy win against the lower-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#10, 7-15). The chances of Seoul Thunders ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 12 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kanter could help Seoul Thunders to bring them higher in the standings. Kanter has a great season in South Korea. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.1rpg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Andrew Nicholson (206-PF-1989) of Seoul Thunders - 24 points and 12 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
