Hammonds' double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old American center Rayshaun Hammonds (206-C-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Suwon KT Sonicboom and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 45.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, while his team edged out Wonju DB (#7, 22-29) 69-67. Sonicboom is placed at 2nd position in South Korean league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Suwon KT will need more victories to improve their 32-19 record. In the team's last game Hammonds had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Sonicboom's top player in his first season with the team. University of Georgia graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hammonds is in league's top in points (6th best: 17.9ppg), rebounds (6th best: 9.7rpg) and averages solid 56.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jameel Warney (203-C-1994) of top-ranked Seoul SK Knights. He is American center in his 6th season at Seoul Knights. In the last game Warney recorded an impressive double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Knights was edged by the lower-ranked KoGas (#5, 26-25) 75-74. Seoul Knights managed to keep the same 1st spot in the standings. His team has currently 40-11 record. Warney is one of the most experienced players at Seoul Knights and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.0ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 12.2rpg and 4.4apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Andrew Nicholson (206-PF-1989) of Korea Gas Corporation (#5). Nicholson scored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of KoGas, leading his team to a 75-74 win against the higher-ranked Seoul Knights (#1, 40-11). KoGas needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 26 victories and 25 lost games. Nicholson has a great season in South Korea. After 47 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.3ppg (2nd best). He also has a FGP of 52.0% and 3PT: 42.6%.
