Long's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

32-year old American forward Shawn Long (208-F-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Busan KCC Egis and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 40.
He had a double-double of 37 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Wonju DB (#4, 27-18) with 20-point margin 104-84. Egis maintains the 5th position in South Korean league. KCC Egis is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 23-21 record. In the team's last game Long had a remarkable 86.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Egis' top player in his first season with the team. University Louisiana at Lafayette graduate has very impressive stats this year. Long is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.7ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 13.2rpg) and averages solid 61.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Henry Ellenson (208-C-1997) of Wonju DB. He is American center in his first season at Wonju DB. In the last game Ellenson recorded an impressive double-double of 40 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Wonju DB lost that game 84-104 to slightly lower-ranked KCC Egis (#5, 23-21). Wonju DB managed to keep the same 4th spot in the standings. His team's 27-18 record is not bad at all. Ellenson is a newcomer at Wonju DB and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.2ppg (#2). He also registered 8.9 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Rayshaun Hammonds (206-C-1998) of Hyundai Mobis Phoebus (#8). Hammonds got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds and four assists. Despite Hammonds' great performance the Mobis Phoebus lost 75-83 to the higher-ranked LG Sakers (#1, 31-14). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Mobis Phoebus not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 28 games, recording just sixteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Hammonds could try to bring Mobis Phoebus' a little bit higher in the standings. Hammonds has individually a great season in South Korea. After 40 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.5ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 9.0rpg (5th best).
