American Forward Shawn Long (208-F-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Busan KCC Egis, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 19 rebounds, while his team beat Seoul Knights (#8, 2-3) 75-67. Egis is placed at 2nd position in South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. KCC Egis will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Long had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Egis' top player in his first season with the team. Former University Louisiana at Lafayette star has very solid stats this year. Long is in league's top in points (4th best: 21.3ppg), rebounds (4th best: 12.0rpg) and averages impressive 59.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Egyptian Assem Marei (206-C-1992) of Changwon LG Sakers. Marei had a very good evening with a double-double of 17 points and 23 rebounds. Of course he led Sakers to another comfortable win 69-53 over Suwon KT (3-2) being unquestionably team leader. Despite this victory LG Sakers slide down in the standings to 4th position. His team's 3-2 record is not bad at all. Marei is a newcomer at LG Sakers, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#9). His other stats are also decent: 16.5rpg and 4.0apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Rayshaun Hammonds (206-C-1998) of Hyundai Mobis Phoebus (#7). Hammonds scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Mobis Phoebus, leading his team to a 82-77 win against Daegu (#10, 0-5). The chances of Mobis Phoebus ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Hammonds could help Mobis Phoebus to bring them higher in the standings. Hammonds has a great season in South Korea. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.2ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 8.6rpg (6th best).
