LG Sakers are the new KBL champions

LG Sakers have won 2024/25 KBL title. They outscored Seoul Knights 62-58 on the road in the decisive seventh game of the championship series tonight. Il-Young Heo (197-F-1985) came up with 14 points points to lead the winners. LG Sakers eked out a 27-23 halftime lead. Seoul Knights pulled within 3 points at the final intermission. But LG Sakers poured in 21 points in the fourth frame to ice the victory. Tamayo Carl (200-F-2001) finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds for the visitors. Hyung-Bin Kim (202-C-2000) and Warney Jameel (203-C-1994, college: Stony Brook) posted 11 apiece for the Knights.
