Experienced American Shawn Long (208-F-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for Busan KCC Egis and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 32-year old forward had a double-double of 19 points and 19 rebounds, while his team beat Suwon KT (#4, 8-6) 89-81. Thanks to this victory Egis moved-up to the 5th position in South Korean KBL. KCC Egis is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-6 record. In the team's last game Long had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Egis' top player in his first season with the team. University Louisiana at Lafayette graduate has very impressive stats this year. Long is in league's top in points (8th best: 17.2ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 13.2rpg) and averages solid 57.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Nick Perkins (203-F/C-1996) of Daegu KoGas Pegasus. Perkins impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 32 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Daegu to edge slightly higher-ranked Seoul Thunders (#8, 6-8) by 5 points 85-80. Despite this victory they still are the league outsider. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Daegu managed to get this year. Perkins is a newcomer at Daegu and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Filipino Kevin Quiambao (193-SF-2001) of Sono Skygunners (#9). Quiambao scored 26 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). Despite Quiambao's great performance the Skygunners lost 68-74 to slightly higher-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#7, 6-8). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Sono SG not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 9 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Quiambao could try to bring Sono SG's a little bit higher in the standings. Quiambao has individually a great season in South Korea. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.4ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 7.4rpg (8th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
