American Center Rayshaun Hammonds (206-C-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for Hyundai Mobis Phoebus, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (34 points, seven rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Seoul Thunders (#6, 6-6) 92-79. Mobis Phoebus maintains the 7th position in South Korean KBL. Mobis Phoebus is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-7 record. In the team's last game Hammonds had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Mobis Phoebus' top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Georgia star has very solid stats this year. Hammonds is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.4ppg), rebounds (6th best: 9.5rpg) and averages impressive 50.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Egyptian Assem Marei (206-C-1992) of league's second-best Changwon LG Sakers. Marei had a very good evening with a double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Sakers to edge the lower-ranked Seoul Knights (#8, 5-7) 80-75. LG Sakers' second position in the standings has not changed. His team's 8-3 record is not bad at all. Marei is a newcomer at LG Sakers, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Canadian forward Andrew Nicholson (206-PF-1989) of Seoul Samsung Thunders (#6). Nicholson got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . Despite Nicholson's great performance the Samsung Thunders lost 79-92 to slightly lower-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#7, 5-7). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Seoul Thunders needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 6 lost games. Nicholson has a great season in South Korea. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.3ppg (6th best).
