Anibal Zahle won over AL Ahli dubai, 89-79. 1st half ended in Anibal favor, 51-43. Anibal's player Ghaleb Ridha was the star of the game gave AL Ahli hard time especialy in the 1st half.
In the 4th Quarter, around 1 minutes from the beginnig of the Quarter , the game got tied 61-61. again at 5:44 mins, 67-67. Then Al Ahli was able to lead 69-67 at 5:30mins. the game was tied again at 2:14mins, 76-76. but Anibal was able to lead the score and by the end of the game got more Fouls that enabled them to End the Game with 10 points difference.
This the 1st Win for Anibal in the Championship. Anibal Coach was Awarded the Best Coach in the Championship. Also, RODRIGUE AKL was awarded best play maker .
Al Ahli Dubai got 2nd place in the Championship and Sagesse 3rd place.
Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammad Al Maktoom was there to watch the game then gave the medals and cups to the WInners.

Al Ahli clinched the second place at the Arabian Gulf Basketball Clubs Championship 2013. The team from the United Arab Emirates lost only one, final game and ended up on the second position.
In Day 1 Al-Ahli edged Nzwaa from Oman 73:61. The second game became a thriller as Al-Ahli overcame the defending champions Al-Rayyan from Qatar 74:73. In the Semifinal Stage Al-Ahli from the United Arab Emirates edged Kazma 80:69. Al Sadd triumphs at Arabian Gulf Basketball Clubs Championship 2013. The team from Qatar lost only one game at the campaign and sealed the title. In the Final game Al Sadd overcame Al-Ahli from United Arab Emirates 85:72.
Al Ahli dominate 2012/2013 season as they won Vice Presidents Cup, League and UAE Presidents Cup. Al Ahli beat Al Shabab 77:66 in the Final of the UAE Presidents Cup to complete a grand treble for the season. Cheikh Samb top-scored for the winners with 27 points.

Al Ahli Dubai (D1) landed 27-year old Montenegrin ex-international center Vladimir Golubovic (213-101kg-86, agency: Beo Basket). He has a double citizenship as he also holds Serbian passport. Golubovic started the season at Antalya Buyuksehir Belediye in Turkish TBL league. In 7 games he averaged impressive 21.9ppg, 12.1rpg and 1.3apg this season. Golubovic also played 3 games in Euroleague where he had only 2.3ppg and 4.3rpg. He also played at Azovmash (Superleague) in Ukraine earlier that season. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and Golubovic had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 8 Superleague games he had 7.9ppg and 4.1rpg. He also played 1 game in Eurocup where he recorded only 2 points and 8 rebounds. Golubovic also played 5 games in VTB United League where he had 7.4ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.0bpg. The previous (10-11) season he played at Banvit (TBL) in Turkey. The team played in three different competitions that year, and Golubovic had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 39 TBL games he had 10.2ppg and 5.1rpg. He contributed to his team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Golubovic also played 2 games in Euroleague where he had 10.0ppg and 7.0rpg. He also played 6 games in Eurocup where he had 11.0ppg and 6.3rpg. In 2009-10 season Golubovic was tested by Union Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenian league. In 10 Euroleague games he had 6.8ppg and 4.2rpg. He also played 21 games in Adriatic League where he had 8.0ppg and 4.8rpg. Among other achievements Golubovic received Eurobasket.com All-Slovenian League Import Player of the Year award back in 2009. He also represented Montenegro at the Qualifications to European Championships 2011 three years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 0.7ppg, 1.3rpg. Golubovic is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Italy, Slovenia (Un.Olimpija), Serbia (Vojvodina Srbijagas).
