Davis Bertans may agree terms with Dubai

Davis Bertans

BC Dubai (Adriatic League) is close to ink 31-year old Latvian international 208cm small forward Davis Bertans for upcoming season who played last time at Charlotte Hornets in NBA. In 28 games he averaged 8.8ppg and 1.8rpg last season. He also played for another NBA team the Thunder in NBA.
In 2011 he was drafted by Indiana Pacers (NBA) in second round (42nd overall).
He has been also a member of the Latvian international program for some years. Bertans has regularly played for the Latvian senior team since 2011 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2011.
He also represented Latvia at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Riga (Latvia) this year. During this event he scored an average of 8.5 points per game and had 2 rebounds per game.
Bertans is a very experienced player. He has played also in Serbia (Partizan), Slovenia (Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana), Spain (Baskonia), NBA (Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards and San Antonio Spurs), Latvia (Barons Riga, ASK Riga, BA Riga and ASK Kadeti-2), NBA G League (Austin Spurs) and NBA Summer League (San Antonio Spurs).
Among many awards he won NBA Southwest Division championship title in 2017. Bertans was voted to Eurobasket.com All-European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) Honorable Mention back in 2017.
