Al Riyadi Beirut have won Group A of the Dubai International Basketball Championship with a perfect 5-0 record. In the latest game they edged Al Nasr Dubai 85-82. Al Riyadi Beirut posted a 25-18 win in the opening period and added a 22-17 run in the second frame. Al Nasr on the other side replied with two narrow wins in the rest of the quarters for the final result.
Ismail Abdelmoneim top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Mohamed Tabbara nailed 16. Harat Mohammed had 26 points in a loss and Marvelle Harris delivered 20.
