BC Dubai (Adriatic League) bolstered their lineup by adding 23-year-old Australian international guard Taran Armstrong (198cm-86kg-2002, college: CBU). He most recently played for GS Warriors in the NBA Summer League. In three games he played, he averaged 9.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 4.0apg, and 1.3spg last season. Armstrong also suited up for another NBA team, the Warriors.
Armstrong has been a member of the Australian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Australian senior team since 2021 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2021.
Armstrong also represented Australia at the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers this year. During this event, he scored an average of 6.7 ppg and had 2.7 rpg.
He has played professionally in Australia (Taipans) and the NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors).
In 2022, Armstrong played in the final of the Kyle Macy Award, which is given to the top freshman in Division I. He was also voted the All-WAC Freshman of the Year in 2022.
He graduated from California Baptist University in 2024 and it'll be his second season as a pro player.
