Dubai inks Mouhammadou Jaiteh, ex Monaco

Mouhammadou Jaiteh

BC Dubai (Adriatic League) agreed terms with 30-year old French ecenter Mouhammadou Jaiteh (211cm-1994) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He played for AS Monaco Basket in the French Betclic ELITE ProA for the last two years. In 34 games last season, he had 10.1ppg and 5.7rpg. Jaiteh helped his team reach the league and Cup finals, as well as the Cup semifinals. In the 2024-25 season, he was named Eurobasket.com All-French League Center of the Year and participated in the All-Star Game and French League All-Star Game. Jaiteh also played 31 games in the Euroleague, averaging 7.5ppg and 3.9rpg, helping his team reach the Euroleague final.
Jaiteh was also a member of the French international program for some years. He played for French Senior National Team between 2015 and 2022 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2014.
Jaiteh also represented France at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. Jaiteh's team won Bronze and he averaged over 10 ppg.
He is a very experienced player. Jaiteh has played in Italy (Virtus Bologna and Torino), Russia (Avtodor), Turkey (Gaziantep), and France (SIG Strasbourg, Pole France, JSF Nanterre, and SO Maritime Boulogne).
He won the French League championship title in 2024. He was selected as the Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Player of the Year in 2022.
