Dubai signs Ahmad Dwairi

BC Dubai (Adriatic League) signed 31-year-old Jordanian international center Ahmad Dwairi (212cm-1993) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, with Croatian Leon Radosevic having signed earlier. Dwairi played last season at Cagdas Bodrum Spor in the Turkish BSL league, where he averaged 12.3ppg, 6.3rpg, and 2.3apg in 27 games.
During the 2022-23 season, he split time between Qadsia (D1) in the Kuwaiti league and Bursaspor (BSL). He played 18 games in the BSL, averaging 5.8ppg, 5.7rpg, and 1.2apg.
Dwairi has been a member of the Jordanian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Jordanian senior team since 2012 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2010.
Dwairi also represented Jordan at the Asian Games in Huangzhou (China) last year. Dwairi's team won Silver and he had over 13 ppg.
He has also played professionally in Kuwait, Turkey (Efes and Fenerbahce), and Jordan (Al Riyadi, Ittihad Schools, and ASU Sports Club).
Among many awards, his team made it to the Turkish Cup final in 2022. Dwairi was voted to Eurobasket.com All-World Cup Honorable Mention back in 2019.
