Zamalek inks DeMarco Dickerson, ex UAE NT

DeMarco Dickerson

Al Zamalek Cairo signed 26-year-old American guard DeMarco Dickerson, who also holds a UAE passport. He played for the UAE National Team in the Arab Nations Cup in Cairo (Egypt) where his averages were: Score-2(21.7ppg), 5.5rpg, 4.0apg, Steals-4(3.2spg), FGP: 50.0%, 3PT: 29.8%, FT: 81.1%.
He is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Canada (Stingers), Hungary (Hubner Nyiregyhaza BS), Sweden (Umea), Czech Republic (Pardubice), and The Basketball Tournament (Rise and Grind).
In 2023, his team reached the Czech Republic League Semifinals. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Czech Republic League Honorable Mention in the same year.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered the top international summer league on the market.
He graduated from Siena Heights University in 2020 and it'll be his fourth season as a pro player. He played for other colleges like Macomb Community College and Kalamazoo College.
