Dubai inks Aleksa Avramovic

Aleksa Avramovic

BC Dubai (Adriatic League) signed 30-year old Serbian international guard Aleksa Avramovic (193cm-84kg-1994) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He is the second foreign player on the roster as Canadian Mfiondu Kabengele signed here earlier. Avramovic was the assist leader at PBC CSKA Moscow in the Russian VTB United League. In 56 games, he had 12.1ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.3apg, and 1.3spg, helping them win the VTB United League championship. In the 2024-25 season, he was voted Eurobasket.com VTB United League European Player of the Year, All-Star Game participant, and League Player of the Week three times. For the three previous seasons (2021-24), he played at KK Partizan Mozzart Bet Beograd (KLS) in the Serbian league. The team competed in three different competitions that year, allowing Avramovic to experience basketball at various levels. He also played four games in the Serbian KLS, where he averaged 12.8ppg, 4.0rpg, and 5.3
Avramovic represented Serbia at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) last year. His team won Bronze and he averaged over 10 ppg.
He is a very experienced player. Avramovic has played in Italy (Openjobmetis Varese), Russia, Spain (Unicaja and Estudiantes), and Serbia (OKK Beograd, KK Borac Cacak, and Mladost Cacak).
