Jones comes back to Al Sharjah, ex NLEX RW

DeQuan Jones

Al Sharjah (ULB) inked experienced 34-year old American 203cm forward DeQuan Jones (college: Miami, FL). It is actually his comeback to Sharjah as he has played here before. Jones played last summer at NLEX Road Warriors in Filipino PBA league. The last season he played at Al Sharjah.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
Jones is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Jones has played previously professionally in China (Anhui Wenyi), France (Lille), Israel (Hapoel Holon), Italy (Trieste), Japan (Jets, Lakestars and Storks), NBA (Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers) and NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants and Stockton Kings).
Among many awards his team won Japanese B League D2 West Division Regular Season in 2021. He received USBasket.com All-NBA G League Most Improved Player of the Year award back in 2018.
Jones graduated from University of Miami in 2012 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball.
