Helios Suns add Lazarevski to their roster, ex Dubai

Helios Suns Domzale (Liga OTP banka) added 18-year-old Slovenian shooting guard Ian Lazarevski (202cm-2007) to their roster. He started the season at Dubai U19 team in UAE U19 League, where he put up impressive stats of 16.7ppg, 6.7rpg, and 8.0apg in three games. Last season, he played for Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (Liga Nova KBM) and also had a brief stint with Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana U18 team (ANGT), scoring nothing and grabbing only 1 rebound in 2 games in the Slovenian Liga OTP banka.
Lazarevski represented Slovenia at the FIBA U16 European Championship in Skopje (North Macedonia) three years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 15.3 points per game and had 6 rebounds per game.
He has played previously in other UAE team and Serbia (BC Mega Soccerbet Sremska Mitrovica U19 team).
Despite his young age, Lazarevski had a great career. He won the Slovenian League championship title in 2025 and was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-FIBA U16 European Championship Honorable Mention in 2023.
