Egypt overcame UAE in Group B of the Arab Basketball Championship. The favorites delivered a 94-46 win in the opener. Egypt started the game with a 29-20 run and added a 19-10 rally in the second period. Moreover, they pushed the tempo in the second half and produced two more comfortable wins for the final result.
