Isaiah Taylor (ex Shanxi L.) agreed terms with Dubai

Isaiah Taylor

BC Dubai (Adriatic League) inked 30-year old American 190cm point guard Isaiah Taylor (college: Texas) for upcoming season. He was second best scorer at Shanxi Loongs in Chinese CBA league. In 46 games he recorded 12.3ppg, 2.7rpg and 5.7apg last season.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (LKL) in Lithuanian league. He also played 21 games in Lithuanian LKL where he averaged 10.0ppg, 1.5rpg and 3.5apg in that year. Taylor helped them to win the league title. Great season indeed as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Finals MVP. The other team he played shortly was Efes (BSL) in Turkish league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Taylor is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Israel (Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion), Lithuania, Spain (UCAM), Turkey, NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors) and NBA G League (RGV Vipers and College Park SkyHawks).
Taylor graduated from University of Texas in 2016 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
