Al Bataeh Sharjah (ULB) added to their roster experienced 34-year old American forward Tony Criswell (205cm-109kg-1991, college: Missouri) for season 2025-26. Criswell played this summer at Antranik in Lebanese LBL league. In 22 games just recently he recorded very impressive stats: 24.5ppg, 7.6rpg and 1.5apg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention. He also spent pre-season at Homentmen (LBL). Quite impressive season as he was selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention.
Criswell is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in twelve different countries. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Villa Mitre de Capital Federal), Brazil (Brasilia), Dominican Republic (Mauricio Baez, Marineros, Soles, Parque Hostos and Leones), Germany, Japan (Albirex), Mexico (Correcaminos, Panteras and Caballeros de Culiacan), Qatar (Al Khor), Switzerland (Lugano), Uruguay (Tabare), Venezuela (Cocodrilos), NBA G League (Westchester Knicks) and The Basketball Tournament (Show Me Squad).
Criswell won Dominican Republic LNB championship title in 2022.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
Criswell graduated from University of Missouri in 2014 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player. He played for other colleges like: Independence Community College, University of Alabama at Birmingham.
