Leyton Hammonds (ex Dijon) is a newcomer at Dubai

Leyton Hammonds

BC Dubai (Adriatic League) strengthened their roster with the addition of 29-year-old American 203cm power forward Leyton Hammonds (college: OK State) for the 2024-25 season. He most recently played at JDA Dijon Bourgogne in the French Betclic ELITE ProA, where he averaged 10.8ppg and 3.3rpg in 13 games last season, helping them win the cup. Hammonds also played 5 games in the Basketball Champions League, averaging 10.4ppg and 4.4rpg. He briefly played for Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul (BSL) in the Turkish league.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career, he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and of course North America) in seven different countries. Hammonds has played previously professionally in Finland (Nokia), Hungary (Kormend), Japan (B Corsairs), Poland (Arka), Russia (Enisey), and Turkey (Gaziantep).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-VTB League Honorable Mention back in 2021.
He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2017 and it'll be his eighth season in pro basketball.
