Bertans re-signs at Dubai

Davis Bertans

BC Dubai (Adriatic League) confirmed in their roster 32-year old Latvian international small forward Davis Bertans (208cm-102kg-1992) for the new 2025-26 season. He played there last season. In 32 ABA League games, he had 12.2ppg, 3.2rpg, and 1.1apg. The previous (2023-24) season he played for the Hornets in the NBA. He also played for the Thunder in the NBA.
In 2011, he was drafted by the Indiana Pacers (NBA) in the second round (42nd overall).
Bertans has been a member of the Latvian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Latvian senior team since 2011 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2011.
Bertans also represented Latvia at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Riga (Latvia) last year. During this event, he scored an average of 8.5 ppg and had 2 rpg.
He is a quite experienced player. Bertans has played also in Serbia (Partizan), Slovenia (Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana), Spain (Baskonia), NBA (Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards and San Antonio Spurs), Latvia (Barons Riga, ASK Riga, BA Riga and ASK Kadeti-2), NBA G League (Austin Spurs) and NBA Summer League (San Antonio Spurs).
He won the NBA Southwest Division championship title in 2017. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) Honorable Mention in 2017.
