Homentmen lands Dikembe Dixson, ex Al Ittihad Tripoli

Homentmen Beirut (DLBL) signed 29-year-old American 201cm forward Dikembe Dixson (college: UIC). He transferred from Al Ittihad Tripoli in the Libyan D1 league where he competed this season. Previously, he played for Shabab Al Ahli Dubai in the UAE league. Dixson's stats were impressive, averaging 18.4ppg, 6.0rpg, and 1.6spg in 5 D1 games.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in eleven different countries playing on five different continents. Dixson is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, African, and North American leagues. He has played professionally in Brazil (UNIFACISA), Finland (Karhubasket), Iraq (Al Karkh), Italy (Brindisi), Luxembourg (T71 Dudelange), Saudi Arabia (Al Safa), Switzerland (Monthey-Chablais), North Macedonia (Vardar), Lebanon (Hoops), and NBA G League (Windy City Bulls and Capital City Go-Go). His team was regular season runner-up in Libyan League Group 2 in 2026.
Dixson graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018, and this will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
