On friday, Dubai Interational Championship
Semi-Final

Al Ahli stopped Sagesse chain of success
and won by 20 points difference, 83-63.
It seems like Sagesse didn't expect Al Ahli eagerness
for winning!
However, Sagesse is a strong team and can never be
underestimated. Wish them best of Luck in next year Championship.

In the other game , Anibal Zahle won over Al Ittihad
by half basket , 75-74.

It is good to note that the Audience had a better presence
on the Semi-Final unlike the Preliminary, which added to the excitement of the game.
After Anibal Won the Audience stood and sang the lebanese
National Anthem.

Alex Okafor (ex Louaize) is a newcomer at Banijas !! - 5 hours ago
Banijas Abu Dhabi (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) forward Alex Okafor (202-102kg-87, college: Princeton). He played last season at Louaize in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. In 26 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 8.2rpg and 2.6apg. Defending champion Al Ittihad Jeddah (SBL) landed 31-year old American forward Travis Gabbidon (201-86, college: UTSA). He has played for the last two years at Al Shaab in UAE D1 league. Among other achievements Gabbidon's team made it to the ABA Semifinals in 2014. He received also Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP Honorable Mention award back in 2013. Al Moutahed Tripoli (Pepsi LBL) added to their roster 28-year old American power forward Denzel Bowles (208-116kg-89, college: JMU, agency: Stealth Sport).
