28-year old center Isman Thoyib (202-C-84) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Dell Aspac and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10. He had the game-high 9 points adding twelve rebounds for Dell Aspac in his team's victory, helping them to beat Pelita Jaya (#3, 5-1) 78-71. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Dell Aspac to consolidate first place in the Indonesian league. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Dell Aspac already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. Thoyib has many years of experience at Dell Aspac, through which he has constantly improved. Thoyib has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 7.0rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg.
Second best performed player last round was Firman Nugroho (201-C-90) of Satya Wacana. He is a center in his second season at Satya Wacana. In the last game Nugroho recorded impressive 13 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Satya Wacana lost that game 63-76 to the higher-ranked Stadium Jak. (#6, 3-4). Satya Wacana is still second from the bottom in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Satya Wacana managed to get this year. Nugroho is well-known at Satya Wacana and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Agustinus Sigar (180-G-79) of Hangtuah (#4). Sigar scored 17 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Hangtuah, leading his team to a 71-48 easy win against the lower-ranked NSH GMC Riau (#11, 1-5). Hangtuah needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Sigar has a very solid season. In 6 games in Indonesia he scored 8.5ppg.
Other top performing players last week: 4. Adhi Prasetyo (194-C-93) of Hangtuah - 9 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists 5. Rizky Effendi (187-SF-88) of Dell Aspac - 12 points and 5 rebounds 6. The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
