Buccaneers ink Devondrick Walker, ex Borneo

Devondrick Walker

Geraldton Buccaneers (NBL One) signed 33-year old American swingman Devondrick Walker (194cm-1992, college: ETAMU) for the upcoming 2026 season. He played last summer at Borneo in the Indonesian IBL league. In 7 games, he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.0apg, and 1.0bpg.
Walker is a highly experienced player, having played in eight different countries on three different continents - Europe, Australia, and North America. He has played professionally in France (Chorale de Roanne), Indonesia, Italy (Trieste and Brindisi), Latvia (VEF Riga), New Zealand (Hawks), NBA (Philadelphia 76ers), Australia (Bullets, Wildcats, Flames, and Phoenix), and NBA G League (Austin Spurs, Delaware Blue Coats, and Westchester Knicks).
Among many awards, including NBL1 West MVP in 2022 and 2023, and NBL1 West Grand Final MVP in 2022.
Walker graduated from East Texas A&M University in 2014 and this will be his 13th season as a professional player.
