IBL Round 2 (Regular Season): Satria Muda defeat Tangerang

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Tangerang at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by Satria Muda 95-74. Satria Muda outrebounded Tangerang 41-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. Satria Muda looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Satria Muda made 8 blocks. American forward Jalen Jones (202-1993, college: Texas A&M, agency: Haylett Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. International point guard Yudha Saputera (176-1998) contributed with 12 points and 11 assists for the winners. Haitian forward Jeantal Cylla (201-1996, college: Arkansas) replied with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for Tangerang. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Satria Muda is looking forward to face Satya Wacana in Salatiga in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tangerang will play on the road against Borneo in Pontianak and is hoping to win this game.

American Antonio Hester (199-1990, college: Mobile, AL) had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Brandone Francis chipped in 24 points, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Rajawali's coach Efri Meldi allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international point guard Abraham Wenas (174-1996) responded with 22 points and 8 assists. Rajawali will play against Satya Wacana in Salatiga in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kesatria will have a break next round.

Even 29 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals by AJ Bramah did not help to save the game for Pacific Caesar.
