Round 5 most important game was a victory of Hangtuah over 6th ranked Kesatria BS 73-70 on Saturday night. Hangtuah looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Kesatria BS's players. American-Dominican guard Adonys Henriquez (201-1994, college: St.Louis) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. U.S. Virgin Islands power forward Rakeem Christmas (206-1991, college: Syracuse) contributed with 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American-Taiwanese power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds for Kesatria BS. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hangtuah have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 6-2 record behind leader Satria Muda. Kesatria BS at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Prawira and Dewa United. Hangtuah's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Jakarta Rajawali.

Bima Perkasa's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after six consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Surabaya, where they edged Pacific Caesar (1-7) 85-83 on Sunday. Kierell Green nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points and 20 rebounds for the winning side. AJ Bramah came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks for Pacific Caesar in the defeat. Bima Perkasa (1-6) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place. It was Pacific Caesar's seventh loss in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 5: winless Rajawali was smashed by Dewa United on the road 104-80. Bali Utd. won against Bima Perkasa on its own court 71-54. Satria Muda managed to outperform Pacific Caesar in Jakarta 94-85. Satya Wacana recorded a loss to Prawira at home 60-72. Tangerang was crushed by Dewa United on the opponent's court 109-82. Satya Wacana was beaten by Hangtuah in a home game 71-76. Satria Muda won against Bali Utd. on the road 96-86.



Dewa United - Rajawali 104-80

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Dewa United (5-3) crushed bottom-ranked Rajawali (0-7) in Surabaya 104-80 on Wednesday. Dewa United looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dewa United made 7 blocks.
