There was a small surprise when sixth rankedDewa United (5-3) outplayed 4th placed Tangerang (4-3) in Surabaya 109-82 on Saturday. Dewa United looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American forward Jordan Adams (194-1994, college: UCLA) nailed 30 points and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winning side and international center Lester Prosper (209-1988, college: Old Westbury, agency: YoungGroup Unlimited) accounted for 17 points and 12 rebounds. Four Dewa United players scored in double figures. American guard Stephaun Branch (196-1995, college: UWG) came up with 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and the other American import center Jarred Shaw (211-1990, college: Utah St.) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Tangerang in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dewa United have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Prawira and Kesatria BS. Loser Tangerang dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Borneo.
