KJ Buffen was the second best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 40 points he had in Simba Bogor

40 points scored by 25 year old American forward KJ Buffen (201-F-2000, college: UAB, agency: Diamond Sports) made him the second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team Simba Bogor beat the Rajawali 115 to 71. He also added 8 rebounds and 5 assists that evening. Buffen is the 5th best scorer in the league averaging over 24 points and almost 8 rebounds per game. All of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
He has played on three different continents. He has played previously professionally in Finland (Kobrat), and New Zealand (Rams).
Among many awards he won the New Zealand NBL championship title in 2024. Buffen was selected as the All-C-USA Honorable Mention between 2022 and 2023 during his college time.
