Jamarr Johnson added to the roster of Prawira

Prawira Bandung (IBL) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 36-year old former Indonesian-American international 198cm guard Jamarr Johnson (college: Widener) for season 2025. He joins another USA player DeVaughn Washington who is already in the roster.
He played last summer at Borneo. In 29 IBL games he recorded 11.3ppg, 6.1rpg, 2.3apg and 1.2spg.
He also represented Indonesia at the Asian Games in Jakarta (Indonesia) seven years ago. During this event he scored an average of 10.5 points per game and had 4.5 rebounds per game.
He has spent his entire career in Indonesia playing for four other teams: Satria Muda, CLS Knights, Louvre Surabaya and Dewa United.
Among many awards his team was regular season runner-up in Indonesian IBL Red Group in 2021. Johnson was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-ASEAN League Honorable Mention in 2023.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Prawira.
He graduated from Widener University in 2011 and it will be his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
