The most surprising game was a loss of Hangtuah (3-1) in Jakarta on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by Dewa United (2-3) 81-70. Dewa United made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Dominican point guard Gelvis Paulino (185-1994, college: Merrimack) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 assists. American forward Jordan Adams (194-1994, college: UCLA) helped adding 19 points and 10 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). The best for the losing side was U.S. Virgin Islands power forward Rakeem Christmas (206-1991, college: Syracuse) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dewa United is looking forward to face Bima Perkasa (#13) in Sakti in the next round. Hangtuah will play on the road against Bima Perkasa (#13) in Sakti and is hoping to win this game.
