Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Satria Muda keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Simba Bogor. Defending champion Pelita Jaya keeps the seventh place with two games lost. Satria Muda will play against Bima Perkasa (#12) in Sakti in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Pelita Jaya will play on the road against Prawira (#6) in Bandung and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 8: Bali Utd. was beaten by Pelita Jaya on the road 77-65. Satria Muda won against Tangerang on its own court 99-95. Borneo unfortunately lost to Prawira in Bandung 78-87. Pelita Jaya rolled over Pacific Caesar at home 102-78. Tangerang defeated Bima Perkasa on the opponent's court 80-71. Bima Perkasa beat Rajawali in a home game 81-79. Borneo lost to Hangtuah on the road 70-85.

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Pelita Jaya (6-2) beat 10th ranked Bali Utd. (2-8) in Jakarta 77-65 on Tuesday. Pelita Jaya outrebounded Bali Utd. 52-40 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by forward KJ McDaniels (197-1993, college: Clemson) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and power forward James Dickey III (208-1996, college: UNCG) supported him with 17 points and 10 rebounds. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Satria Muda had a 37-24 advantage in offensive rebounds.
