Despite his strong performance, his team Rajawali lost to the Kesatria 97 to 110. On top of that he also recorded 10 rebounds that evening. He is the 4th best scorer in the league averaging over 25 points and almost 12 rebounds per game. Among many awards he was selected to the Eurobasket Spanish LEB Silver All Imports Team as well as the All Second Team back in 2020. Hester was selected to the Eurobasket All Icelandic League Third Team back in 2021.
