Prawira adds Washington to their roster, ex Qurain

DeVaughn Washington

Prawira Bandung (IBL) added to their roster experienced 35-year old American power forward DeVaughn Washington (203cm-102kg-1989, college: Ohio). He just played at Qurain in Kuwaiti D1 league. The last season season he played at Tachikawa Dice in Japanese B3 League where in 10 games he recorded 9.0ppg, 9.9rpg and 3.7apg. He also played for another Japanese team Nagasaki Velca (B1 League) in Japanese league. The other team he played shortly was another Japanese team Niigata Albirex (B2 League) in Japanese league. Another team he played briefly was another Japanese team 89ers (B1 League) in Japanese league.
Washington is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in ten different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Washington has played previously professionally in Austria (Raiffeisen Flyers Wels), Bulgaria (Balkan), Finland (Karhubasket), Greece (Kymis and Larissa BC), Hungary (Szombathely), Japan (Brave Warriors, Storks, Volters and Try Hoop), Kuwait, Turkey (Gelisim), Uruguay (Bohemios) and North Macedonia (Rabotnicki).
Among many awards he won Bulgarian League championship title in 2022. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League Defensive Player of the Year back in 2018.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Prawira.
Washington graduated from Ohio University in 2011 and it is his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player.
