Dewa United - Borneo 102-95

Dewa United made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Dewa United outrebounded Borneo 41-22 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Dominican point guard Gelvis Solano (185-1994, college: Merrimack, agency: BMS Sport Agency) who led his team to a victory with 37 points (!!!) and 5 assists. American forward Jordan Adams (194-1994, college: UCLA) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Michael Qualls (197-1994, college: Arkansas) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and the former international guard Jamarr Johnson (198, college: Widener) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Borneo. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Satria Muda looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Nicaraguan guard Ricardo Zamora who scored 27 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. American forward Elgin Cook (196-1993, college: Oregon) chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Travin Thibodeaux (203-1996, college: New Orleans) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import center CJ Gettys (213-1994, college: Rutgers, agency: Haylett Sports) added 21 points and 12 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Prawira dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Simba Bogor's 36. Prawira players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Simba Bogor's players. It was a good game for Chilean-Spanish center Manny Suarez (208-1993, college: Creighton) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). International point guard Yudha Saputera (176-1998) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 assists for the winners. Four Prawira players scored in double figures. American LeBryan Nash (198-1992, college: OK State) answered with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import Kenney Funderburk (193-1992, college: Columbus St.) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Simba Bogor. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
