Tangerang lands Jarred Shaw, ex Dijlah- January 3, 2025
In 2015 (a year after his graduation) he was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors (D-League) in first round (18th overall). The former Utah State standout is in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014. Shaw is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in thirteen different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Shaw has played previously professionally in Argentina (Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos), Dominican Republic (Mauricio Baez, Marineros, Enriquillo and Dosa), Japan (Firebonds), Lebanon (Homentmen), Mexico (Soles and Dorados), Portugal (Oliveirense), Saudi Arabia (Deba), Turkey, Uruguay (Hebraica, Trouville and Goes), Venezuela (Panteras and Gigantes), Indonesia (Prawira) and Thailand (Hitech). Among many awards he won Dominican Republic TBS championship title in 2023. He was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Indonesian IBL Center of the Year in 2023.
