Cooper's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

35-year old American point guard DJ Cooper (183-PG-1990) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Dewa United Banten and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
He got a double-double of 15 points and 15 assists, while his team beat Pacific Caesar (#10, 0-4), the league's bottom-ranked team 92-82. It allowed Dewa United to take over top position in the Indonesian league. Dewa United have a solid 5-1 record. Cooper just recently signed at Dewa United, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Ohio University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cooper is league's best passer with 12.0apg. Cooper is in league's top in and averages solid 5.0spg and 71.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Nick Hornsby (201-F-1995) of Amartha Hangtuah Jakarta. He is American forward in his first season at Hangtuah. In the last game Hornsby recorded an impressive double-double of 36 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Hangtuah lost that game 72-79 to slightly lower-ranked Tangerang (#7, 2-3). Despite lost game Hangtuah moved up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Hornsby is one of the most experienced players at Hangtuah and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.0ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 13.8rpg and 6.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward AJ Bramah (201-F-1999) of Elang Pacific Caesar Surabaya (#10). Bramah got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds and five assists. Despite Bramah's great performance the Pacific Caesar lost 82-92 to the higher-ranked Dewa United (#1, 5-1). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Bramah has individually a great season in Indonesia. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.8ppg (best scorer) and assists with 5.3apg (7th best).
