McLaughlin's masterful distribution skills earned him the fifth spot in assists per game with an impressive average of almost 6. He also recorded over 16 points per game that season in the league. McLaughlin has totalled 8 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 3 games on the year. His 27 points against Tangerang were the most he scored in the 2025 season. Among many awards he was selected as the All-Big West Player of the Year back in 2021 during his college time. He was also selected to the All-Big West First Team as well as the All-District 9 Second Team back in 2021. McLaughlin was also selected as the All-Big West Honorable Mention back in 2020.
