Franca's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

27-year old Brazilian center Joao Franca (215-C-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for Tangerang Hawks and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat RANS PIK (#7, 4-6) 103-98. Tangerang maintains the 4th position in Indonesian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Tangerang will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. In the team's last game Franca had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Tangerang, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Franca has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 24.6ppg), rebounds (4th best: 14.1rpg) and averages solid 1.7bpg and 54.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Antonio Hester (199-PF-1990) of Rajawali Jakarta. He is American forward in his first season at Rajawali. In the last game Hester recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 23 rebounds. It was enough for Rajawali to edge the higher-ranked Dewa United (#5, 5-5) by 4 points 86-82. Despite this victory Rajawali slide down in the standings to 8th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Hester is one of the most experienced players at Rajawali and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.1ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 13.2rpg and 3.9apg. Former University of Mobile star Hester is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Jalen Jones (202-F-1993, agency: Haylett Sports) of league's second-best Satria Muda Pertamina Jakarta. Jones got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for fifteen rebounds . He was a key player of Satria Muda, leading his team to a 92-88 win against the lower-ranked Dewa United (#5, 5-5). Many experts and fans count Satria Muda as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 9 victories and only one lost game. Jones has a very solid season. In 10 games in Indonesia he scored 18.7ppg.
