Indonesian IBL round 6 best performance: Rakeem Christmas (by Hoops Agents)

U.S. Virgin Islands Power forward Rakeem Christmas (206-F/C-1991) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Amartha Hangtuah Jakarta, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Pelita Jaya (#8, 4-1) 81-74. It allowed Hangtuah to take over top position in the Indonesian IBL. Hangtuah have a solid 8-2 record. Christmas turned to be Hangtuah's top player in his first season with the team. Former Syracuse University star has very solid stats this year. Christmas is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 10.2rpg) and averages impressive 2.5bpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young British V.Islands center Lester Prosper (209-C-1988, agency: YoungGroup Unlimited) of Dewa United Surabaya. Prosper had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds. Of course he led Dewa United to another comfortable win 79-62 over the lower-ranked Satya Wacana (#11, 2-8) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Dewa United to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 7-3 record is not bad at all. Prosper is well-known at Dewa United and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Dewa United's star - American forward Jordan Adams (194-F-1994). Adams showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Dewa United Surabaya, helping his team with a 85-77 win against #2 ranked Satria Muda in a game of the week. Dewa United needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 3 lost games. Adams has a great season in Indonesia. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.0ppg (4th best). He also has 2.5spg and a FGP of 57.8%.
