Indonesian IBL round 2 best performance: Jalen Jones (by Hoops Agents)

American Forward Jalen Jones (202-F-1993, agency: Haylett Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Satria Muda Pertamina Jakarta, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Tangerang (#8, 1-1) with 21-point margin 95-74. Satria Muda is placed at 5th position in Indonesian IBL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Satria Muda won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Jones had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Satria Muda and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader. Former Texas A&M University star has very solid stats this year. Jones is in league's top in points (2nd best: 30.0ppg) and averages impressive 2.0bpg,69.2% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Joshua Ibarra (211-C-1995) of Dewa United Banten. Ibarra had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 18 rebounds. Of course Dewa United cruised to a 84-74 relatively comfortable win over Satya Wacana (0-2). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Ibarra is one of the most experienced players at Dewa United and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Nick Hornsby (201-F-1995) of Amartha Hangtuah Jakarta (#7). Hornsby got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds and ten assists. He was a key player of Hangtuah, leading his team to a 98-78 easy win against Pacific Caesar (#9, 0-1). Hangtuah needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Hornsby has a great season in Indonesia. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 32.5ppg (best scorer) and assists with 9.0apg (5th best).
