Singapore Slingers celebrated the third consecutive win at ASEAN League. They held off visting Bangkok Cobras to improve at 3-1 record. Wong Wei Long (172-G-88) led well-balanced effort with 15 points. The Cobras fell at 1-2 record after the loss. The teams exchanged baskets throughout the first quarter. The scoreboard read 14:14 after ten minutes. However the Slingers pulled ahead in the second quarter. They established a comfortable 33:21 halftime advantage. Moreover the hosts boosted the margin after the big break. Singapore Slingers stretched the gap to as many as 20 points heading into the final quarter. Bangkok Cobras had little to answer with and had to yield at the end. Graham Louis (205-F/C-84, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) posted 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Dulay Donald (173-G-80) accounted for 10 points for the winners. The Warriors though capped the opening period on a 9:2 rally to gain 15:13 lead. The visitors maintained the advantage throughout the second period. The Warriors arrived at halftime up by 7 points 33:26. The Slingers sparked intrigue late in the period cutting the deficit at 3-point mark. But the Warriors quickly responded and entered the fourth frame up by 8 points. They never looked back in the fourth term and sealed the win at the end.
